Secluded at the northern edge of Napa Valley, at an elevation of 1,100 feet, rests Basin Vineyard. Here, river rock creates ideal drainage across the slope vineyard rows. At this height, warm days and cool afternoon breezes allow the grapes to ripen to a perfect balance of sugars and acidity. This Cabernet boasts a deep ruby color and a nose of black plum and boysenberry. In the mouth, bursts of mocha and cinnamon compliment structured and balanced tannins, finished in anise and oak.
