This Gewurztraminer is produced from grapes grown on 30 year old vines planted in soil rich in clay and limestone. Harvesting by hand and pressing the whole berries results in a wine with a yellow/gold hue, with notes of violet, rose and fir tree and hints of tropical fruits on the finish. Pairs nicely with strongly flavored cheeses and sauced meats.
