Psagot Winery was established in the summer of 2003 in the Judean Hills, just north of Jerusalem. This area has a long history of grape and wine production. The winery's cellar is a cave which keeps an optimal constant temperature with high humidity making it an ideal environment for the wine's aging.
Psagot's Merlot was aged for 13 months in small French oak barrels. This fruit forward wine is loaded with plum and cherry aromas. The wine has soft tannins and a nice spicy finish.
