The unoaked Montefiore White is lemony-fresh, lively and fragrant. It has a nose of tropical fruit with a green, appley tinge, a broad, satisfying mouth feel and a crisp, refreshing finish.
nnovative blend intended to emphasize the characteristics of fragrance, freshness and quality. It is made from Colombard and Chardonnay grape varieties, both of which are grown on limestone soils in the rolling hills on the way to Jerusalem.
Colombard is an underrated variety which is particularly well suited to the Israeli climate. Its flowery aroma and good acidity make it an excellent blending component. Chardonnay is well established in Israel and is known for producing some of Israel’s finest white wines. Some of the best varietal Chardonnays come from the Judean Hills wine region.
Both varieties were harvested early and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their delicate aromas. PLEASE NOTE THROUGH A COMPUTER ERROR THE PREVIOUS PRICE WAS SHOWN INCORRECTLY PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES.
