Cabernet Sauvignon- To Kalon Vineyard, Napa Valley
This wine is the inaugural release of a special limited offering in a series of handcrafted single vineyard lots honoring the Herzog family's history of winemaking for eight generations. The wine is truly an exquisite example of combining the finest winemaking skills with the most sought after grapes grown in California. Specially selected grapes were cultivated at the renowned and historic To Kalon vineyards in Napa Valley. These grapes offer significant terroir from one of the world's best known and historic vineyards.
Generation VIII by Herzog offers aromas of currant, cassis, black cherry and cedar followed by rich flavors of fruit and toasty oak. Full bodied with well balanced tannins, this wine will cellar well for at least 12 years.
