The Galil Ela is a blend of 45% Syrah, 45% Barbera, 7% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc.
The wine is dark red in color with characters of plum, sour cherry, pitanga, violet blossom and herbs, along with notes of oak and a hint of butter. A medium-to-full bodied wine with noticeable acidity and a long-lasting, pleasant finish
The Ela is ready to drink now and If stored under proper conditions, the wine should age well for 3-5 years from time of harvest. Try the wine with seasoned dishes such as rice cakes with lamb and herbs, pasta with red sauce and fresh herbs, barbecued chicken, or even pan-seared sirloin steak.
