The Chateauneuf du Pape is the most famous Cotes du Rhone wine.. It is a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah with a slight addition of pink Clairette. The color has a red ruby hue to it. It has a full nose that exhibits blueberry, spice and truffle. It has full mouth feel with blueberry, coffee, spice and slight hints of white chocolate. It has excellent balance with a very long finish.
