Judean Hills–52% Syrah, 30% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon—Barkans Assemblage Series offers a whole new perspective on the potential of Israel’s wine regions. Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, individually fermented and barrel aged for 10 months were brought together to create EITAN. The wine’s bouquet marries red cherry, and berry notes with elegant hints of sandal wood, coriander, thyme and leather and is balanced to perfection with textured tannins and a harmonious long finish. The wine is a delight today and will be even finer with barrel age.
